Does VPSServer.com have access to my data?

No, VPSServer.com does not access your data. You have the option to change your root password. In fact, we strongly recommend you change your password and update it as frequently as possible.

Can government authorities request access to data?

Yes, by following the proper protocols governments can request and be granted access to data.

How is my data protected?

Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) is used for data protection. This virtualization method prevents you from accessing any other VPS, and vice-versa. We also strongly recommend you change your root password on sign up and as frequently as possible.

Am I obliged to abide by the laws of the United States of America?

VPSServer.com is registered in both Gibraltar (where its headquarters are located) and in the US. If you sign up through our US office, reside in the US, or use datacenter facilities in the US, you must abide by US laws. Similarly, signing up through the Gibraltar office requires you to abide by the laws of Gibraltar.
